Before Covid happened, I had all these things planned, activities, play dates, lots of shopping, swimming, just all the fun things.
When it happened, I was just drained, Emotionally, physically, I was just drained. We haven’t really done those activities, we have went swimming but no play dates, no fun crafts, no shopping, we’ve just been taking it day by day. We’ve been watching a little more TV, spending a litte more time on the ipads, sometimes I feel guilty, guilty that I’m not that pinterest crafty mom I wanted to be right now.
It’s okay though, it’ll get better and things will open and we’ll do all the fun things we had planned. We’ll be able to have playdates again soon and go shopping and stroll through all the aisles of target, homegoods and more. Until then, tv, movie nights, tablets will be just fine. It’s all just temporary. Don’t feel bad for not being that pinterest worthy mom during all of this. You’re doing amazing, your kids love you and they just don’t understand.
To be honest, do any of us understand?
This week on The Untold Stories Of Motherhood we’re all sharing about activities during this pandemic. We’re all struggling a bit and that’s okay.
