EASY DIY BOHO ADVENT CALENDAR

If you can’t tell I love advent calendars! I think they are so fun and my kids absolutely love them and look forward to opening them up every morning leading up to Christmas Day! I love making new traditions with them and doing DIY projects with them. They love to get messy and have fun!

So onto my boho DIY advent calendar!

What you need

• Twine (got mine at michaels
• brown bags (michaels as well)
• greenery, I went with a snowy christmas greenery (michaels)
• scissors
• glue gun
• candy
• clothes pins
• cricut maker (optional)

How to make it

This one was super easy to make. You can even glue the twine to the branches to not have them show as much but it was easier for me to just wrap it around.

• Start with the two branches (if you can find one long piece that’s even better)
• Use your glue gun and glue them together making sure to not show and of the stem
• let that dry and while you let that dry cut a piece of the twine long enough to glue on back of greenery so you can hang it.
• grab your cricut machine or a sharpie and draw on the numbers on all of the bags. (I used my Cricut Maker because I suck at drawing and it’s so easy to draw numbers on bags with cricut maker.)
• once the branch has dried, glue on that back piece and let that dry next.
• fill up the bags with candy
• then cut different lenghts of the twine to hang the bags with.
• I simply just wrapped the twine around the branch, used the clothepins and pinned them on the twine that was around the greenery!
• & Done! So easy and so aesthetically pleasing!
• Hang it around the house anywhere and let the fun begin!
