Kids Charcuterie Board For The Holidays

Spread the love

Ok so these Charcuterie boards have been popping up left and right. I absolutely love them! So I decided to create one for my kids. Since we typically have a ton of movie nights (especially around the holidays) I wanted to do something fun for them!

First things first, make sure you have a cutting board or even just a round platter to make the board with. You also want lots and lots of candies, treats, etc. Whatever board you are going for, grab a ton!

I seriously just grabbed random stuff from target, dollar tree, & walmart and got to creating! I wasn’t sure if I was going to use everything but I wanted the options in front of me and I knew whatever I didn’t use my kids would eat.

I have this adorable rae dunn cutting board I knew i wanted to use. It made the perfect board for all the stuff I wanted to add. I started by pulling out the Santa l clause chocolate I found at target. My son is obsessed with Santa and chocolate so I knew he’d love that.

I basically just laid everything I got out in front of me and then decided what to put on the board. I went with a lot of chocolate cause my kids are obsessed with chocolate (who can blame them?) I added some candy cane gummies as well cause I mean how cute? As well as some peppermints and marshmallows. I mean is it even a holiday Charcuterie board without peppermints and marshmallows?

I then just started unwrapping all the stuff I didn’t want in the wrappers, I left some in the wrappers like the rolos cause the colors we’re cute and I wanted some holiday colors in it! Once I had it all unwrapped I started placing stuff all around the board, mixing it up.

I did some chocolates and candy cane gummies on one side, then the other side I kind of went for a hot cocoa side. I grabbed some different marshmallows, hot cocoa shaped carrot, candy cane mixers, and a hot cocoa mixer & it came out so cute!

I was actually really nervous about how this would come out, if i’d like it, etc. After all that work I was like it better be cute! I love how it came out and so do my kids! Have fun with it & just go for it!

Xoxo until next time, Cheyenne.
