A Boho Kids Room Makeover.

Spread the love

Let me start by saying I’m not 100% finished but I definitely love how it’s come out so far. *I took these pics around Christmas but it’s a lot more minimal normally.

My daughter kept changing her mind on what she wanted her room to be. Trolls, my little pony, frozen, unicorns, and it was just a never ending circle. I got tired of redoing it and with her getting older now I knew she wouldn’t love those shows forever. So I decided to do something she would love for a long time.

I went with rainbows. That’s the design I went for. Rainbows, boho, plants. I knew this was something she would love for a long time because rainbows and unicorns go hand in hand and she loves my plants and taking care of them.

I was really excited to find the most perfect wallpaper from Loomwell as well as a blanket. That was the easiest process ever. The wallpaper came custom to her wall so I just had to move her bed out of the way and start applying the wallpaper. It comes in long pieces. So it wasn’t a pain to put it up. It was just about 6 pieces I had to put on her wall. Easy and it came out so beautiful. It really pulled her room together.

I made her sweet little signs on her wall with my Cricut Machine and the name sign is linked below as well. It’s from the sweetest shop and it was custom made which is so special. I love shopping small!

Her letter board on the wall is from target and I love switching up the sayings that I put on there. She’s starting to read so I thought it was special so could wake up and read a little uplifting message every morning.

I am planning to get her a new bed frame from cocovillage as well. That will really make her room flow. They have the cutest styles ever. I’m also going to hang a cute little wall hanger in her room so she can hang her Fawn Design bags.

*I’m also looking for a new nightstand so if you know of any, let me know in the comments below!*

I got her a new table and chairs from BCP products and I got her new dressers from Ikea. (I’ll link everything at the bottom.)

Her gorgeous macrame swing I got off amazon and just got some dollar spot pillows and blankets to put on it. I’m not sure what I was thinking doing white cause my kids are seriously the messiest ever. I definitely don’t regret the swing though because it’s her favorite thing ever.

She was obsessed with frozen for a long time so everything use to be frozen. She is in love with her new room and I can’t wait until its fully done. One day at a time though, 2020 has been such a crazy year so I thought redoing her room to a “big girl” room would help her a little with how crazy this year has been.

I also just got little decor from target dollar spot to put around her room. She helped me pick out a lot of it actually which was nice. I can’t wait to move and be able to fully start from scratch and decorate it better. Trying to find things last minute was stressful but we worked with what we had and she absolutely loves it so that’s all that matters.

Thanks so much for reading all about Aub’s Room Transformation! I’ll link everything below for you to shop!

Xoxo until next time, Cheyenne.
