Spread the love

Can you believe it’s almost Father’s Day? I sure can’t! My husband’s birthday is almost right around Father’s Day and sometimes even falls on Father’s Day! Which means I really have to go all out for him! We make sure he knows how loved he is all year. He really does work so hard to provide and he’s just the best daddy ever. This year I’m getting him a guitar that he’s been asking for (uhm it’s like a lot of money so donations welcome ahah)

Normally I do something simple like make shirts with my Cricut or put together a cute basket. So I’m going to share some simple but fun ideas that he will love! Some of these you can just run to Walmart, target etc and grab the stuff and throw it together, homemade items even or you can order them! I’ll also be including a free printable to add to any gift so make sure to stay tuned!

I wish i had pictures of some of these because we’ve done them and they came out so cute! If you have any questions on any of them let me know!

1. A basket filled with all of his favorite things. This came be beef jerky, sweets, beer, nfl things, etc. Whatever he loves, throw it in! Along with a card and you’re golden!

2. A fun homemade craft. This one is great especially if you’re on a tight budget. You might even have the stuff to do it at home already. I love doing the kids hand prints on a paper and letting them decorate it how they want.

3. Take a picture of your kids with 5 different signs. (I, Love, You, Daddy, Happy Father’s Day) then have them take a photo with each paper and print them off and put them in a frame! We did this one year and my husband loved it!

4. A grill. I think every single father out there would love a grill for Father’s Day. I’ve heard Traeger grills are great but I don’t have one so i can’t 100% say. I’m sure any grill will make him happy!

5. This one kinda goes with the basket or grill. If he has a grill already you can do a ‘grillin’ basket. Get him a customized apron, some seasonings, some utensils, lighter, etc.

6. A bouquet. I know this sounds so funny and it’s not you typical bouquet. This one is filled with a beer for the center, peanuts and chocolate surrounding! (Then add my free printable and he’ll love it)

7. An envelope that says “I could not have built a better dad” then fill it with tools you can just print off online. Write something sweet on each one “i love when my dad….. My daddy makes the best….. etc.

8. Customized blanket off amazon. Add your own photos and words (only $30!!!) or even A customized wallet.

9. Funny Beer Glass. (To DAD From the reasons you drink)

10. A Survival Kit. Only $40!!

These are just some ideas, don’t think you have to go above and beyond. It’s the little things that matter the most.

I’m sure he’d love just a nice meal, a little basket and a sweet card. I mean one year I even gave my husband a baby (lol jk but I really found out I was pregnant a week before and had our first ultrasound on his birthday)

As promised here is the free printable for the dads. Just print it out and have the kids fill it out. Make a fun craft with the kids and he’ll love it! I hope you get to spoil him. I hope you loved my ideas and I can’t wait to see what everyone does for Father’s Day!

Just click the box below, enter your email and you’ll have the free printable! (Plus many many others) No spam I promise!

Xoxo until next time, Cheyenne.
