I swear since the day me and my husband found out we were expecting our first boy he couldn’t wait until the day he was old enough to watch dragon ball z and he just prayed he’d love it as much as he does.
Well that dream came true for my husband. His boy, little dom jr. is absolutely obsessed with dragon ball z just like his dad. So we knew one year he’d ask for a dragon ball z party and for his 6th birthday he did and i’m not sure who was more excited, him or his dad?
I was excited because I knew this party would actually be for both of them. It was so fun being able to find all the decor and put it all together but the best part was the day of the party. Seeing my son’s face light up and my husbands as well. It was the best birthday party and he wanted to keep all the decor up well after the party was over.
I did have a hard time finding all the decorations in store so I bought most of it on amazon. I also was pregnant and really sick around this time so I could have found even more on Etsy but it all came out so perfect and they had the best day.
We always go pretty simple on food because the kids are so busy playing and bouncing on the bounce house that they don’t really care much about the food (minus the sweets ofcourse)
We always order our cake and cookies from the same ladies and they truly don’t disappoint. My poor son didn’t even want to cut his cake because he was obsessed with it. I don’t blame him but it was the most delicious cake as always.
The cookies are always such a hit and I made sure to order extra this year so he’d have some after the party and even before the party for his actual birthday. She has never done cookies dragon ball z themed but she absolutely nailed it like always.
He absolutely loved all of his gifts and especially hit light up scooter. I mean just look at that face. I couldn’t have asked for better family/friends to come celebrate with us. He had the absolute best day & it always melts my heart.
Our bounce house we always order from our friends at FC Inflatables and they are the best because my sons birthday was Friday and they dropped it off then so he could enjoy it for his birthday and then his party on Saturday and even on Sunday! Man, i wish i had a mom as cool as me when I was a kid because how fun?
