Hello & Welcome to my Blog. I’m so grateful you’re here!
Alright, so to start let me just say I have no clue what I’m doing so I’m just going to start by introducing me and my little mixed family!
My name is Cheyenne Traficante! I’m the writer behind this blog. My blog focuses on motherhood, lifestyle, recipes, DIY projects, and more. I love all things boho, plants, decor, food, target runs and loads of coffee. I love sharing my life and my projects as well as the ups and downs of motherhood with my readers. Something about writing that just soothes the soul.
The ones that inspire me.
I’m a mama of three littles humans who are my heart and soul and what made me want to blog in the first place! Aubrey Ann & Domiano Jr. (DJ for short) & I’m currently pregnant with a baby girl due October 12th. Once I became a mama at 17, I knew so many others could relate to me and my struggles as a teen mom. I’m now 25 with three babies and wouldn’t trade it for the world.
The one who pushes me.
I’m married to their daddy (8 years come September 2021.) He really pushes me and helps me believe in myself. He’s always hyping me up and helping me when i’m in a creative funk. I don’t know where I’d be without this man.
We live in Sunny Arizona. Which can be nice but I also dread summers. It’s so hot and impossible to do anything but swim! I moved here when I was just 11 years old and I’ve called it home since. I’m from Chicago and that’s where most of my family is. My hubs is from Colorado Springs and came here not long before we met.
We had our first baby when I was just 17 but we knew it was meant to be and she truly saved us. We had our second little man when I was 23 & we just feel so complete. So we thought, we knew we wanted to have another baby. We started trying in December of 2020 and on the morning of Feb 13th we got a positive. We can’t wait to add our newest addition. They really complete us and make us whole. We went through some really rough spots in our marriage but we always came out stronger than before.
I’m a co-sleeping, exclusively breastfeeding, BLW kind of mama. I feel as mothers we just must do what WE FEEL IS RIGHT. Not everyone is going to be the same. Just like every baby is different. That’s what makes motherhood so hard. Most mothers only see one way and that’s it. We are 3 1/2 years into our breastfeeding journey and me being pregnant now I can’t picture us stopping anytime soon.
After I had my son in Jan of 2018, I struggled really bad with PPA AND PPD. It was the hardest thing ever and even harder on our marriage. I didn’t even know how I was feeling or why I felt that way, so how could I expect him to help? He did everything he possibly could and tried to help me so much. I knew one day I would overcome and when I took control of my life and lost the baby weight, I started feeling good again.
I started to feel like me again. I wasn’t just magically fixed but I knew I was on the right road. I worked hard, I found something to helped me to lose the weight and it just went up from there. I knew I was helping myself the best way I could. Being pregnant now is hard. I won’t lie, I lost the weight that seemed to take forever to lose after my son and then my body started changing so fast again being it was my third pregnancy. I know it’s so worth it though and ill be back to my size 3 in no time! (If interested in how I lost the weight feel free to pm me on Instagram or facebook)
I wanted to start blogging to share the highs and the lows of motherhood. It became so much more. Life, products, recipes, home tours, my journey, Printable’s and so much more. I started my influencing/blogging journey 3 years ago and its brought me so far. I’ve gotten to work with amazing brands that I’d never dream of. I won’t lie, My life is messy but I think everyone can agree that’s normal when you become a parent. It’s never perfect. Remember, people only show you what they want. Social Media is hard and that’s why I decided to start blogging, to share the real, raw truth. I’m excited to share my life with you & I hope to get to know you also!
