If you’ve been wanting a Cricut, Do it. I’m going to show you just how simple it is to make a project. One of my favorite things to make is t-shirts! It’s so fun to make your own shirts and customize everything! Me and my best friend thought these shirts would be hilarious!

First thing, This is what you’ll need to make your t-shirt. (Iron-on color will vary on what you’re making)

1. First thing you want to do is create your design in design space. Make sure you measure so it’s the correct size when it cuts. *I went with something simple to show you!

They offer so many images and so many fonts!

2. You’ll want to get your iron on ready and place on mat. (SHINY SIDE DOWN since we’ll be mirroring the image)

3. You’ll want to click make it. It’ll bring you to this page and you’ll hit mirror (it’ll then say mirror on) You will then load your mat with the loading button on the cricut (which will be blinking)

*The explore air 2 has a dial on it so you’ll make sure to put that in iron on so it knows what it’s cutting.

4. Once you are all ready, you have your design ready, you’ve mirrored the image & made sure it’s on the correct dial, you’ll start cutting!

I love that it shows the percentage on the screen.

5. Once it’s finished cutting it’ll tell you to unload mat. You’ll unload and peel off the iron on.

6. Once you’ve peeled it off, you can start weeding. Which just means you are peeling off the excess iron on to make your image or text!

7. Once you’ve got it all weeded (make sure to not miss any tiny pieces) You’ll grab shirts and get placement right! It might take you a few to make sure it’s centered but you can always measure it also!

8. Once you get placement right, you’ll turn on easy press. It warms up very fast. I do 320 degrees Fahrenheit for 30 seconds. (This will vary depending on what you’re making) once it’s warmed up, you place on shirt and press for 30 seconds!

9. Once finished pressing you’ll give it awhile to cool off and then peel off backing! done! You’ve now just made your own shirts!

You can make any shirts you want! It’s so much fun and really makes you pull out that creative side! Check out my pinterest for more creative ideas!
