2020 hasn’t been the greatest so far, It’s been hard on everyone. Losing jobs, being cooped up, having to become a teacher. I think we can all agree we need a break and we NEED a nice vacation. Well Great Wolf Lodge has you covered.
We stayed at Great Wolf back in 2019 for a media trip and it was absolutely amazing. The kids had such a blast. With Covid this year and us being cooped up for so long and school ending so suddenly. We we’re all so beyond stressed and you could tell. So when we got the chance to go back to Great Wolf Lodge I said ABSOLUTELY! The kids need it, I need it, we all just need it.
Since it’s all so packed all the time I was a bit nervous and wanted to make sure we would be safe. Well, we we were definitely covered! Not only are they only doing half capacity but they are taking extra precautions to make sure everyone stays safe. Masks in all the public areas, extra cleaning, and more.
We had such a blast and can’t explain how much we needed it. They have everything you need for the perfect family vacation. Howl in One Mini Golf, Northern Lights Arcade, Ten Paw Alley Bowling, Rustic Ridge climbing wall, Magiquest, Oliver’s mining Co, Howlers Peak Rope Course, A Candy Shop and they even have food places all over as well as a dunkin inside the Lodge. (all the coffee)
They have character times as well as story time which is so fun for the littles. Ofcourse, they have the best indoor water park and even have an outdoor pool! They really have it all and it’s so easy to spend the day just exploring! The kids will be worn out and pass out before you know it!
Inside the waterpark they even have food so you don’t even have to leave the park! Timbers has amazing mexican food! 100% recommend the Chicken Tacos and The Carne Asada Fries! Buckets has your basic but oh so delicious, chicken, fries and burgers. The kids will definitely love them! My favorite part was probably The watering Hole. The best margaritas i’ve ever had!
They have a kiddie area which was perfect for DJ even though he did go down the huge water slides as well! (My little aquarius, water loving baby) Aubrey’s favorite part was the wave pool. I swear she pretty much spent about 3/4 of the time in there. I love how they have attractions for all ages and even have something for the parents.
We got to stay in a themed suite and the kids absolutely loved it! We stayed in the Wolf Den Suite and oh my! It had the cutest little cave themed sleeping area and they even had their own TV! Which was perfect after a long day at the waterpark!
It had a tv, mini fridge, TV, queen sized bed and even a sofa that pulled out into another bed! It was the perfect suite to go to after a long day at the waterpark. We were all exhausted after but the good kinda exhausted.
