Let me just start by saying I definitely didn’t mean to go so overboard. Ok, Who am I kidding? I definitely did. I would go to target and buy stuff and then go again and forget what i’ve bought already. So I ended up with like 5 bags of stuff.
Honestly though with all the uncertainty of this year and just 2020, I knew I wanted to go all out for boo baskets. I’m unsure if we’ll be trick or treating and even if we do who knows if people will be out. This year is just really BOO SHEET.
We’ve been doing all the fun things like making Spooktacular Sugar Cookies (Check it out HERE) and trying to visit as many pumpkins patches as we can.
These Boo Baskets we’re so fun to make. I got basically everything from Target & Dollar Tree. I re-used the easter baskets and just made them a bit spooky and it turned out so cute!
If you are wanting to go more minimal then I’d suggest just doing a book, PJ’S, candy and some little DIY paint canvas or haunted houses. Either way, We need to make 2020 better. This will put a smile on the kid’s faces and make it a little more fun this year. You can even dress them up and hide candy in your house for them! Throw a cute halloween party for the kids and make cookies and tell spooky stories and sip hot cocoa and watch scary movies!
This is similar to my Christmas Eve box I do (blog to come on that) but this year I’m definitely going a little extra! Do whatever works for you! Big or small they’ll love it!
