A Valentines Charcuterie Board!

Spread the love

Ohhh Another Holiday which means another simple charcuterie board! These have become so popular and seriously they are SO fun to make! Super simple also! If you’ve never done one before you should! I promise its so so easy!

Basically the first step is finding a wood board, cutting board would even work honestly, I found an adorable board at Walmart actually and I loved it for this! You can find them basically anywhere! Circle, Square whatever you want. Make it yours!

Next step is the candy! You can do all sour, all chocolates or even do a mixture of both which is what i did. I love sours and sweets so I did a bit of both. We love doing these on the weekends so we can just get on a sugar high and have fun! It’s definitely a lot of sugar and I don’t recommend doing them often. Ever now and then is okay though.

You can find all kinds of candy everywhere for this, Walmart is normally stocked up as well as Target and all the big stores. Grab some chocolate covered pretzels, gummies, chocolates in the shape of a heart, ahh the love. Everyone is different and loves different things so just grab what you like. You want a variety of things.

Maybe like at least 8-10 different things. You can grab some tiny bowls like I did for some things to just break it up or just lay it all on the board itself. Either way its going to be scrumptious!

Just place them wherever you’d like and move it around until you like it! If you’ve never done one you might need to move it around a few times but you’ll definitely get there. It’s so fun and the turnout is so pretty! I don’t know how these things weren’t around a long time ago. Like when I was a kid?

If you need some ideas of what to grab, I basically grabbed just some Valentine’s Day M&M’s, Candy Hearts, Kit Kat’s, Chocolate Covered Pretzels, Sugar Cookies with the bomb icing (favorite) Hersey kisses, Heart shaped Reese’s, White Chocolate covered Oreos, Some delicious munchy medley, heart shaped marshmallows and some sour patch kid candy hearts. I left the Kit Kat’s in wrappers to give it some color.

It’s seriously so simple though and it makes the kids days! They love seeing this! They light up. I mean i would also?? A sugar high? I’m the coolest mom ever. I know.

That’s it! So so easy! Buy, place and devour! I’m planning to do a little Valentine’s Day with the kids, get ice cream, give them Valentine’s Day baskets and have a delicious charcuterie board! Let me know how yours came out below! I’d love to see them!

Xoxo until next time, Cheyenne.
