Oh it’s my favorite time of the year! Fall! it’s finally cooling down in Arizona and one of my favorite things to do is make some simple shirts with my Cricut Machine. It’s so fun being able to just create what I want. I have a vision and my Cricut helps me bring it to life!

Since it’s finally October, I wanted to make some Soft & Simple shirts to spruce up my closet a bit! After all, I’m having a baby any day now and we all know that we need new clothes after having a baby.

So I’m going to walk you through how I made my shirts. I think the longest process is creating the design. You see I’m a perfectionist, so it has to be perfect and exactly what I envisioned. I honestly couldn’t love how these shirts came out anymore! Simple yet soft and minimal like me!

Supplies Needed.

How to Make.

First thing you want to do is get your supplies all ready and get on design space. As I said above for me the longest process is actually creating the design because I want it to be perfect. So get your design ready to go!

Make sure the sizing is right, I always use my mat to place on the shirt and check sizing that way.

Grab your iron on and use your cutting ruler to cut out each color you’ll need so you’ll have them ready.

Once you have the iron on cut out you’ll start by placing the first color on your mat. SHINY SIDE DOWN****

DON’T FORGET TO MIRROR THE IMAGE AS WELL.

Click continue on design space, load your mat, press the blinking C and let it get to cutting. You’ll repeat this step for each color you plan to do.

Once it’s done cutting you’ll unload your mat. I like to cut around the design so i don’t waste a ton of iron on.

Start weeding each design but take your time with this step, you don’t want to forget any small pieces, etc. Repeat this step with each color/design.

Once you’ve weeded all your pieces, get your shirts and easy press ready. Turn on your easy press so it can warm up while you place your design where you want it.

Once you’ve got your design placed where you want it & your easy press is warmed up, get to pressing! (I do 360 for 30 seconds)

Do each shirt and there you have it! You just spruced up your closet using your Cricut. Simple, soft & minimal shirts made in less then 2 hours (I say 2 hours cause KIDS)

I love being able to do this each season. It’s so fun being able to make my own designs and get really creative with it! Last year, I made some really fun ones as well and I’m excited to add these to my closet this year. Nothing better then creating!
