We have been to great wolf lodge a few times now and I could honestly live there. They have so much to do there for the kiddos and it’s even a blast for the adults! I’ll go into detail about each area. First off, it’s a hotel so you buy a day pass but get a whole room as well. It’s perfect to be able to put your belonging in the room and go down to the water park! The lodge is honestly so cute and they have many activities for the kiddos. We love the dance parties and story times.
I don’t even know how to go into detail about everything great wolf lodge has to offer because it’s SO much. They offer so many fun things and treat you like family. It’s amazing.
When you first walk in you’ll see the main lobby with check in and Buckhorn Exchange Gift shop right in the front. You can go in and buy t-shirts, sweaters, nick nacks and even get your free great wolf lodge ears! We grab some every trip or you can purchase a different pair if you don’t want the free pair.
Once you check in, you head up to your room and then get to the fun!
They have many options for rooms. They have standard suites, themed suites and even premium suites. They are all gorgeous and include beds, couch, tv, etc. all the necessities!
They have so many attractions here for the kids and even for the adults, you’ll see a Dunkin’ Donuts, Ben & Jerry’s, The candy shop, Build a Bear and then you’ll see all the dry attractions.. They have MagiQuest, Rustic Ridge Climbing Wall, Oliver’s Mining Co, Ten Paw Alley, Howl in one mini gold, Howlers peaks ropes course, Northern lights arcade and Moonstone Mine. If you purchase a wolf pass it’s going to include every single one of these and you can even upgrade it to get unlimited play at all of these attractions.
They also have a paddle bay outfitters so if you forgot anything for the water park you can find it there!
Then once you pass paddle bay outfitters you’ll see the water park, your kiddos will get wristbands depending on their height so you know which water slides, etc they can go in and then they have life jackets and towels inside for you to use.
The indoor water park has so much to offer for kids of all ages, big water slides, small water slides, a kid area, a wave pool, an outdoor pool, a hot tub and so much more. You can look on the website here to see thrill levels and min height required.
Taking stick treehouse, slap tail pond, crooked creek, river canyon run, Alberta falls, whooping hollow, diamond back drop, wolf tail, totem towers, club paw pool, chinook. Cove, big foot pass, north woods springs, raccoon lagoon, so many options!
I love food so I was so excited to try all the dining options Great Wolf has to offer and I must say they are all so delicious. We came back in 2019 right after they opened for a media trip and I was blown away with the food then, it just gets better and better the more we go. They have plenty of options.
Before you hit the Dunkin’ and all that you’ll see elevators to get to your room, they have a freshwoods market right there with sandwiches, drinks, snacks and more. Pre-made meals to make your time at great wolf a breeze!
Campfire kitchen – This is the breakfast restaurant. Offering bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffle, yogurts, granola, fruits, they have endless options and you can even do a buffer for breakfast which is great. You’ll need a nutritious breakfast to enjoy the water park!
Barn wood- one of my absolute favorites! They have a whole menu of delicious foods, the kids loved it, I got the Chicken sandwich and WOW. I could eat it daily.
Buckets Incredible Craveables- Burgers, chicken tenders, fries, all the favorites will be here and they are absolutely delicious.
Hungry as a wolf- My kids love this one because who doesn’t love pizza, wings and pasta? Yeah everyone does. This one is delicious well.
Timbers Tacos- Another favorite of mine because I love Mexican food. Quesadillas, nachos, tacos and more. Absolutely Delicious and Timbers and Buckets is inside the water park as well so no need to leave to grab food!
The Watering Hole- This will be directly in the middle of the water park. They offer delicious drinks for the parents as well as even smoothies and such for the kiddos.(no alcohol in those ofcourse) They offer beers, soda, iced tea, blended drinks and more.
Another thing I love about Great Wolf Lodge is all the events they offer as well. They have characters appearances, kids activities, Camp H.O.W.L. Kids club, Arts and crafts, Yoga Tails, Summer Camp In, Trivia, Friends show, story time and even dance parties. This is perfect for the kiddos and it also is included included with your stay! No paying extra for even more fun!
