Kids playroom tour

Me and some of my blogger friends are bring your a DIY kids room decor train! They’ll all be linked at the bottom so make sure to check them out!

So I actually wanted to do this blog on my daughters room but it’s nowhere near done. So I decided to do it on the playroom. After all they spend most of their time in here anyways!

When you first come to the playroom you’ll see this mickey mouse car road rug. DJ is obsessed with cars and mickey so I thought it would be perfect. I got it from Walmart.

Next you’ll see a little cubby hole that just has some bigger toys and baskets. The white wooden basket is actually most of my toys when I was a kid. I love being able to pass that down to my kids. DJ also has a huge basket full of cars.

Then, we have this adorable table from BC products. I’ve been searching online forever for this table because it matches my kitchen table and I couldn’t find it for under $160 but thankfully I found this one by BC products for only $120! We have some school/teaching things under the table in a basket and the US map from target on the wall.

My kids favorite thing in here is probably this play kitchen from Kid Kraft. It’s seriously the cutest thing i’ve ever seen and they could play for hours with each other just cooking food and making coffee like mama. I got a little sign from target as well to hang here.

We also got this adorable toy box from Kid Kraft to match the kitchen. It fits so much, all the random stuff I don’t want all over the floor. (LOL)

I found this adorable banner to hang also! OBSESSSED!

I have a plant next to that, cause well PLANTS make the soul happy.

On the other side, we have this adorable reading nook from BC products. It’s seriously perfect and I love having it right by the window so aubrey can sit and read or DJ will just sit and play by the window sill. It has a comfy cushion and the cutest nooks for the books. I also got a little pillow from target to match the sign by the kitchen.

They have the cutest little cleaning supplies by Melissa and doug. Which they love, they’ll get the broom and dust pan and really try to sweep. It’s the cutest thing ever. 100% recommend that. They also have a cute little fake vacuum.

This was actually going to be DJ’s room but we decided to just let him sleep with us and make this the playroom. His crib and his decor is actually in this corner. He will come in here and lay down but he doesn’t sleep in here at night yet. Under the bed I keep some baskets full of toys also. Legos, all of DJ’s wood toy cars & aubreys Minnie Mouse dress up stuff.

I’m wanting to take his crib down and put a little swing here but i’m not 100% because I want him to sleep in his crib eventually.

I really love how the playroom is coming along. They love it and I love decorating it. We switch up the decor per season and It just feels so cozy.

Thank you all so much for reading! Head over to these accounts for some more inspiration!
