One thing about me is I love throwing birthday parties, the decor, the cake, cookies and all the fun that goes with it! It’s one of my favorite things to do! My least favorite thing to do is a balloon arch but i love seeing my vision come to life!
This year Dj decided he wanted a Pokémon party for his 5th birthday and his dad absolutely loved that because he has always been a huge fan of Pokémon.
DJ watches Pokémon daily and is obsessed, so it was a must! I had such a fun time planning this party and seeing it all come together so I will share all the fun photos and all the details of this Pokémon birthday party!
I will link it all at bottom of the blog so stay tuned for all that!
I normally look on amazon to find the exact stuff I want but this year I went to party planet because I knew they’d have Pokémon birthday stuff! They had everything from plates to napkins, cups, decor and more! I got all the table stuff from party planet!
To the food table, i just did some simple finger foods and the pokeball fruit platter was probably my favorite. It was so simple and so darn cute!
Just grab some strawberries for the top, cool whip in a little bowl for the center, blueberries for the strip (idk what that’s called) and I got mini marshmallows for the bottom but you can even do regular sized marshmallows.
The delicious cake I always get from a local lady who does amazing work. She has done our cakes for around 2 years now and she never fails to amaze me! She nailed this one like always! They look almost identical to the inspiration photos I send her every time. So yes can be expensive but so so worth it.
Cookies, oh the cookies. We actually switched our cookie lady because our last one had a baby! Congrats to her! We’ve used our new cookie lady a few times and she’s amazing plus super close to my house! She did so well on these cookies and it was her first time doing Pokémon! Crazy right? She did amazing!
Our bounce house, we went with a different company this time as well and it was great! The kids had an absolute blast and they loved the fact that it had two slides so the kids weren’t fighting or getting hurt on one slide. He had a great turnout so I’m really glad we went with this bounce house!
The balloon arch, oh balloon arch. I completely despise these but honestly they always come out so cute and look so perfect with the party decor. I actually snagged this one on Amazon. You can grab it here! I didn’t do the poke balls because well I did this at 11pm and I was tired but it still came out so cute!
That’s all. The party was such a success and DJ is so very loved. We can’t thank everyone enough for coming to celebrate our sweet boy with us!
