I can’t believe I’m writing another birthday blog already, seems like I just wrote one yesterday. Although I’ve done this a million times (not really but feels like it) this one hits different. (Sorry in advance it’s a little long but it’s a special one.) This one my sweet baby girl, my first born turns 10. Double digits? How is that even possible? I’m not sure even sure how because not only is she double digits now but that mean I’ve been a mom for 10 years now and that just doesn’t seem right.
My baby girl has made me who i am today. It feels like yesterday I was 17 and absolutely terrified to become a mom and now I’m 28 and have a 10 year old. I know I’m doing something right because she is the sweetest most caring, kind, little lady. She might fight her brother but she would do anything for him or her baby sister.
She is at that age now where she’s not really into anything specific so her only request for her party was PINK! She wanted a pink party which was perfect because the new Barbie movie just came out and now everything seems to be pink!
So for the party it was so easy and so fun! I wanted to go a little big because it is her 10th birthday which means double digits! Our house is small so it’s really hard to bring my visions to life but I loved how this came out! This year has been the most chaotic year so I grabbed a lot of her decor from Amazon since it was pink but I wanted 10 on them. I will link it all below *appreciate any clicks, it means so much*
My favorite part of the entire party was this banner I put together. Her first ever mean mugging photo all the way to her most recent. It’s so bittersweet watching her grow up throughout the years but I’m so proud of her. I knew I had to do this since it was such a milestone birthday. Look at how precious. Banner is from amazon.
Next thing would be the cake and cookies, I have been going to the same ladies for both for a few years now and they never disappoint. They are always perfect and taste delicious. The cake we get from Delicias Argen Tina ,the cookies are from Cute cookies for u (if you are local to me, this is a must i promise.
Onto the decor, I seriously grabbed it all from amazon. I knew I wanted it all to say 10 and double digits but pink so where else do you go? Definitely amazon for all the needs. I grabbed it all and wasn’t sure how it would turn out but it came together so perfect.
The food we did a lot of just finger foods and stuff then we ordered pizza. Easy and delicious. I got most of the food for the table from walmart. I LOVE the pink charcuterie board and so did everyone else. Especially aubrey.
The water slides we always rent but at this point we need to really splurge and just buy our own because we rent one for every party and now we’ll be having THREE a year. This time around we rented from FC inflatables and we love renting through them. We keep it for the entire weekend and it’s such a blast for the kids. 1000% recommend.
She really had the best party and made sure to tell me a million times. I’m so glad because she really deserves it. I can’t believe my first born is 10 years old. I’ve been a mom for 10 whole years now. Such a bittersweet feeling but I’m so glad this party came together the way it did and so thankful to everyone who came to celebrate Aubrey’s big 10th birthday.
