Mom Guilt.. It’s Real.

Spread the love

I think all of us feel mom guilt at some point. Whether it’s because you fed your kids mcdonalds instead of a nutritious meal or you yell to much that day, or you spend to much time on your phone. Sometimes, they have to much screen time. Sometimes, I just want 5 minutes alone. Am I enough for them? Am I doing enough? No matter what it is, YOU AREN’T alone. We all feel it, we hear it, we understand.

Being that I work from my phone and alot of my friends do as well, I think we all feel so guilty about that. Guilty that we don’t spend enough time with our kids. We don’t play with them enough, We don’t show them enough attention.

When my kids ask me to play, I put the phone down and I play. That doesn’t mean I still don’t feel guilty. Guilty I’m not already playing with them. Guilty they have to ask for my time. Working from my phone is hard, so much goes into it.

I know at the end of the day, no matter how guilty I feel, I’m just doing my best and my babies know I love them more than anything in the world. They know this is my job and they know if I yell to much I don’t mean it. We all have feelings and emotions we can’t control.

This week on The Untold Stories Of Motherhood we’re all expressing how Mom guilt affects us. How we all cope with it and how we all GET it. You aren’t alone mama. You’re doing your best and that’s okay. Read all our stories or comment below and let me know how you feel about mom guilt. Does it affect you?
