The truth is, I worked my ass off for it. I researched, I tried different things, and I stayed consistent. Growing your Instagram was so easy back when I first started using it. Nowadays, I think social media is one of the most difficult things to grow in marketing, which makes it so much harder to grow your Instagram.
(Of course, only with accounts you genuinely like though!) When you engage with them, they most likely will engage back and follow you as well. Now, this can be time-consuming! BUT you 100% want followers who are engaging, right? This is the best way to do that, completely organically. I check the explore page or hashtags I follow and I have found and still finds accounts I LOVE to follow.
That is only because, yes, some will engage with you, but most won’t. Numbers aren’t everything when it comes to Instagram. Loops and giveaways are great to grow your numbers but not the best for growing organically and getting engaging followers.
You will eventually find your tribe. Content and quality are definitely a huge part of what’s important on your Instagram. If people see your content and it’s consistent and GOOD quality then they’ll likely engage and want to see more.
My page used to be a mess and watching it grow over this last year has been amazing! (I’ve only been influencing a little over a year, and before that, I took a break from Instagram). I’m still growing and learning myself because Instagram changes all the time. Check out my very first blog post!
Always use hashtags, and make sure you use hashtags within your niche. Don’t have a niche? Find one, or two! Make sure the hashtags are relevant to the post, your brand, and your niche. This goes for stories also.
Find an app, I use “Preview” (it helps to plan out your Instagram feed, and suggests hashtags to use, that you can search for by niche!) but I’m going to start exploring different apps, tools, and programs, because Instagram is always changing, and hashtags tend to work one day and not the next. It’s so so frustrating! At the end of the day just be yourself and engage with others, and get your content right. This doesn’t mean go buy a fancy camera though! Smartphones take such amazing quality photos nowadays, and you can always get a really nice preset to add to your photos.

Anyways, I could edit photos all day and write forever! But it’s definitely best to figure out which way you want to go with your feed. And don’t be afraid to try new things and experiment. It’s the best way to grow your page and grow yourself. 100% find presets you like. This will make such a difference with your feed.
These are just some of the tips I have for you. It’s taken me a long time to grow my Instagram to where it is now, and I would do it all over again, if I could. I love my Instagram, I love my tribe, I love working from my phone, sharing products and promoting companies I love in a way that makes me feel proud to do it each and every day ✨
