As I’ve really started to understand blogging more and understand how it works, I’ve been redoing my page and making it fit ME and my family more! This has become something I genuinely love doing and I’m hoping you’ll follow my journey and watch me and my family grow!
So, if you don’t know me my name is Cheyenne Traficante! I started blogging and influencing almost 2 years ago and I never really took blogging serious until just a few months ago, I started to realize how much i loved to write! I just felt so peaceful, so calm, it helped my anxiety x20. I deal with a lot of things emotionally, dealing with PPD after my son, struggling with anxiety, so many things. Writing helped that so much! Here’s a little glimpse into my background and where I come from!
I’m just a 24 year old rae dunn loving, sweet tea drinking, target obsessed mama of two littles with a little bit of crunch!! I moved from Chicago to Arizona when I was just 11 years old! Random- Most people think I’m from New York for some reason because of the way i talk so they always looked shocked when I say Chicago!
I definitely miss home! Trips to the bean, the fair, the square, camping with my grandparents, having family gatherings, cookouts, all of it! We don’t get to visit often but we do FaceTime my family all the time which I’m so glad we get to do! My grandparents are my rock! No matter the distance!
I have to say even though I miss home TERRIBLY, I’m so thankful I did move here because I met my amazing husband when I was just 15 thanks to my brother who is still his best friend! (LOL) It’s crazy to think I only lived in Arizona for 4 years when I met Dom! We connected instantly and we were inseparable! We were definitely more best friends than anything at first but it didn’t take us long to realize! Our love story is really crazy story actually because he truly SAVED my life! (I’ll do a separate blog post on exactly how we met and all that gushy stuff). It was one of those loves, those ones you just instantly know. He’s the one. We got engaged and then shortly after that we found out I WAS PREGNANT. Long story short, he’s my soulmate. I couldn’t picture my life with anyone else nor do I want to!
We definitely have our work cut out for us with these two! Aubrey is just such a sassy little thing. She’s so dang beautiful and SO smart. She is obsessed with so many things but mostly legos. She has such a creative mind! She started school this year and I’m just so excited to watch her mind grow even more! Initially she wasn’t sure how she felt about having a baby brother but she’s the BEST big sister to her little brother. He’s a handful, he’s needy, he’s annoying sometimes (LOL) but she adores him so so much and even though he drives her crazy she always makes sure her brother is okay and happy. (I’m sure you mamas can relate to this one) Honestly motherhood has been the most incredible, emotional, bittersweet experience we’ve ever been through but those babies make our lives so much better. They complete us and make us whole!

Our kids are our life! So, apart from our kids we don’t do many things for us! Though, once we moved into our new house, my love for decor really grew. I started collecting rae dunn way before we moved but it was all put away besides a few of my favorite pieces! I knew it was something I could do for me and really enjoy it and even enjoy it with my kids! My daughter is just as obsessed with rae dunn as me. She loves to help me decorate and pick out pieces! She even has her own mini mugs, pitcher and canisters. It’s so fun for us to do together! Plus, who doesn’t love decorating?! My husband really disliked me and my rae dunn for a long time (HAHA) but he loves the way the house looks and he uses all my rae dunn so he must really love it now! (LOL)

We love to camp, go to Sedona, hang out by the fire and cook s’mores, hike, anything that has to do with being outdoors, we love it! That one of our favorite things to do as a family! We stay at Sedona Pines Resort in cute little cabins and hang out, explore, walk downtown Sedona! It’s a must! If you love to travel, check out Sedona, Jerome and the surrounding areas.
