Do you try to get the perfect instagram photo every single time? Me also. Do you compare yourself to other photos on instagram? Me also. I’m always working for the perfect shot. That aesthetically pleasing shot that you see all over instagram. I’ll clean that spot of my house, I mean I’m actually a clean freak so i’m always cleaning but sometimes my house isn’t what’s pictured.
Sometimes we have papers all over the floor because we were coloring together, sometimes we have toys all over the playroom because we’re just having fun and being creative. Sometimes my kitchen is a mess because you know, we gotta eat. Sometimes, my house isn’t what’s pictured. Instagram makes us think we gotta have this picture perfect house and picture perfect feed.
I’m here to tell you that we all feel the same. We’re all struggling with the same thing. Instagram Vs Reality. Remember, just because you see something on instagram doesn’t mean that’s the truth. Doesn’t mean that beyond that picture it’s not a mess. I’m sure it is. I’m sure people are like me and try for those picture perfect images.
