Spread the love

Do you do a Christmas Eve box? We and my kids absolutely love them! They get so excited! Almost as excited as Christmas morning! It’s so fun to put together and then to see those adorable faces light up when opening them! Today I’m putting together a list of 10 simple things to add to a Christmas Eve box!

What is a Christmas Eve box?

A Christmas Eve box is well.. exactly what it sounds like. Just a little box with some fun things to do on Christmas Eve night. Some as a family, some just for those sweet little babes!

I am always so stressed during the holiday season, cards, presents, wrapping, decor, gifting, cookies, I just want to do so much but yet not enough time. So I’m sharing my blogs to help you relieve some of your stress.

I like to stay organized and when I say organized, I mean I’m like OCD organized. I have to be or I go crazy!

So let’s get to it. 10 simple ideas of what to include in those magical Christmas eve boxes!

1. Pajamas

I love adding some christmas jammies! We normally do matching pajamas for Christmas Eve so I throw those in the Christmas Eve box!

2. Hot cocoa packet

Who doesn’t love a hot cup of cocoa? Yes please! The perfect little touch to make the night a little more merry!

3. A christmas movie

I mean what goes better with hot cocoa and pajamas than a movie? Enjoy eachother. Sip your hot cocoa in your new pj’s and watch a Christmas movie together.

4. Snacks & Popcorn

Yes. Break out the popcorn and get to cooking it! We absolutely love popcorn around here! Plus those adorable little Christmas themed chocolate the kids beg for? Throw those in!

5. Cozy socks

Those fluffy socks that you just can’t wait to wear all year? Yes those. Ahh i love Christmas time!

6. A Christmas book

This can be a kid’s book or even a book you can read together. We love spending that time together reading! It’s small but special.

7. Milk and cookies plate/mug for Santa

Like those coins or Christmas shaped chocolate your kids always beg for? Yes those. Splurge.

8. Reindeer food!

This is so so fun! We love to put out “reindeer food” on Christmas Eve. It’s such a fun thing to do with the kids and they love making it with you as well (stay tuned for a blog on how we make it)

9. A letter from Santa

This is the best. Seeing those faces when Santa tells them they are on the nice list. It’s just magical as ever.

10. A small toy

Just something small and dainty. Even something from the dollar tree! Nothing crazy!

Now if you have older kids maybe substitute some of the ones above for these

I’ve also included something to help you keep track! Screenshot this and next time you go shopping, grab it and be ready!

There you have it! So simple yet so magical. I hope you all have an amazing holiday season and make sure to subscribe so you don’t miss any upcoming jolly blogs!

until next time, xo cheyenne

Christmas Eve boxes are the best! We typically just do popcorn, pjs and some reindeer food. I’m way too simple

My mom always did reindeer food when I was a kid. So cute.
