How To Style A Half Minimal Boho Nursery!

Spread the love

I know what you’re thinking, what the heck is a HALF boho nursery? Well it’s literally just that. Not a full nursery but a half! I’m beyond excited to finally share this as i’ve gotten so many questions on her nursery! I wanted to do a full nursery but since we renewed our lease right before finding out we were pregnant with our sweet girl we had to do a half nursery! We try to live pretty minimal (well I do and I’m working on my husband lol) So this half nursery space was perfect for us!

It’s actually my son’s playroom. So I decided to declutter and get rid of tons of toys and stuff he didn’t play with anymore to make it into a half playroom/ half nursery. I’m so glad I did because I’m in love with how it came out. She’s normally in her mamaroo or on mama anyways so this space is perfect for the time she does spend in here.

One of the first things I did was figure out how I wanted to decorate it, what style per say. If you’ve been following me for awhile then you know my style is definitely boho. It has been for years. So I knew i wanted to go for a boho nursery and I think I nailed it!

I’ve always loved Loomwell for wallpaper. It’s so easy to use and since we’re renting I need something that wont ruin the walls! So this perfect vinyl from Loomwell goes so well in this space! (will link everything at the bottom)

I found the most gorgeous and versatile crib from Nestig Baby and I couldn’t have picked a better crib honestly. It converts from a mini crib to a full size crib and then a toddler bed! So this is worth the investment and it’s beyond gorgeous, easy to put together and it’s perfect if you need to put a crib in a small space like we did.

This gorgeous name sign is from Polymathmom on IG. I wanted something simple and just wood for this space since we went pretty minimal and boho. It’s absolutely perfect and I couldn’t ask for anything better honestly. It matches so well.

Next we have our DaVinci Dresser. I wanted something white that had 6 drawers but also fit in our tiny space. This was the perfect option. It’s such good quality and absolutely gorgeous with the simple white design! It also has enough space on the top to put things as well which brings me to the next piece.

We got this gorgeous changing basket from Design Dua and it matches the bassinet we got perfectly! It’s so convenient for this space because I keep her diapers/wipes/butt cream etc in the top drawer of the dresser so it’s so nice having it right here with that stuff for when I need it! I’m obsessed with the bassinet and changing basket and I always tell everyone they NEED it! I promise it’s so worth it. I couldn’t have picked a better company. The quality is amazing, handmade and absolutely stunning!

Then I grabbed this gorgeous chair from facebook marketplace because it was a killer deal. I figured since DJ plays in there often I could have a little space to feed baby girl when I need to.

Onto the tiny little details..

The frames on the wall as well as the rattan leaf shelf are from target and I ordered these prints off amazon (super cheap) I love switching up the decor on here! Especially for different seasons!

The little baskets for bows, headbands, pacifiers, etc. are all from target dollar spot. I actually found them before I even knew she was a girl! I knew I wanted to use them in the nursery no matter what. They were so perfect, lightweight and fit the theme I was going for so why not? I also had this mirror sitting around so i decided to just stick it on the dresser (ofcourse after I took most of the photos)

I had a few of these fake plants around my house so I just moved them around to spots that I liked and It came out so cute! (I love plants if you don’t know so check out my other blog posts for plant lovers)

The cute basket filled with blankets was also from target. (Can you tell I love Target?)

Last but definitely not least her adorable rocker was from Little Lona Shop on IG but it’s by Charlie crane. I saw it and instantly fell in love and knew I had to have it for baby girl. She absolutely loves it also!

I kept her mamaroo in here for awhile also but decided to move it because we’re in the living room often anyways so I liked being able to see her! She loves her mamaroo and sleeps so well in it!

I also have the cutest bassinet from Design Dua that we move from Nursery to Living room often. She’s obsessed with sleeping in it. I put her Snuggle me in there and she sleeps so well!

That’s it! In order to be minimal and decorate a small space you have to think ahead.

Here’s some tips to planning the perfect minimal boho nursery.

Really plan what you want to do and take your time creating the space. It took me months to put this room together and even though I wish we had a full bedroom for her nursery, I’m absolutely in love and it’s the perfect space for our sweet little pumpkin.

Keep all your receipts so you can always take something back if you need to!

Always think ahead and decide what look you want. Pinterest is a great tool for some inspiration! Follow me HERE.

Take your time with it, don’t rush, don’t stress, just take it day by day and you’ll create the perfect nursery!

Here’s some more adorable photos of this space I just had to include!

Below you‘ll find links to just about everything I shared above. If you have any questions feel free to shoot me an email or dm on instagram.

Xoxo until next time, Cheyenne!

I love this idea not only because it still gives her space but you can watch your son play while doing task like feeding or changing baby girl instead of wondering why he’s being soo quite right now lol
