How To Decorate A Tiered Tray For The Holidays

Spread the love

If you’ve followed me for awhile then you know I not only love Rae Dunn but I love decorating. I love my tiered tray. It’s probably my favorite thing to decorate besides my coffee bar!

It’s so simple and so much fun. I honestly never really know the vibe I’m going for. I just go for it. This display I’m sharing today is my very first St. Patricks Day Display. I’m not sure why but I’ve just never been big on St. Patricks Day displays. I love every holiday but I just never decorated for it.

My biggest tip for tiered trays is DON’T OVER THINK IT. I would over think and it just made it so stressful. When I just go for it, it always turns out so much cuter and It doesn’t stress me out!

When I got this over the rainbow canister and mug I knew I had to have it and wanted to do a tray!

So first thing I always do is take out whatever Rae Dunn I want to put on the tray. This time was obviously my over the rainbow stuff. (I bought 2 of the mugs so I could display one and use one for coffee lol)

This was the easy part, I set it where i think I’ll want it and then I start grabbing the smaller items. I got the rainbow, pot o gold & leprechaun at the target dollar spot and it was perfect for this display.

I also found some cute little fake coins and 4 leaf clovers that I kinda just threw around.

I also filled canister up with lucky charms cause my displays was just so magically delicious already!

Then I found this cute little gnome at Marshall’s and knew it was a must!

I really like to play around with my display until I get it all the way right, I move around the Rae Dunn, the little pieces, and even the tiny pieces until I like what I see. It’s so fun to decorate. This one was extra fun because of the pieces I used. My tiered tray is St. Patricks Day and my coffee bar is already Easter. I might do an Easter tiered tray after St. Patricks Day so be sure to follow me on Instagram so you don’t miss that.

I got my tiered tray from amazon, Find that HERE.

Rae dunn you can find at Marshall’s, home goods, & TJ Maxx. I did a blog on rae dunn. You can check that out HERE.
