A Char-Boo-Turie Sweets Board

Spread the love

I know spooky season is almost over but in my heart it’s spooky season always. I seriously love all the things that come with spooky season. The leaves changing, the halloween candy, sweet treats, the fall candles, the fall walks, the breeze and I could go on and on. It’s seriously the most perfect time of the year.

One of my favorite things to do is make a spooky char-boo-turie board. My kids absolutely love them and we have so many movie nights it’s the perfect addition to any movie night. Even a party, they’ll surely be something for everyone.

This will be sweet and to the point (pun intended) A Charcuterie board is basically just a board filled with your favorite things. You can do a cheese board, meat board, sweets board, fruit board, basically anything. Well we always do a sweets board for movie nights because who doesn’t love sweets during a movie night?

I start by just grabbing some of mine and my kids favorite things from walmart, Trader Joe’s, target, wherever it comes from. (See we love sweets we know exactly where to get everything we want)

My favorite thing is being able to just do whatever, some people mix it up and put little piles of things and some people do all of it in one pile and then do another pile of something else. For me it really depends on my mood. For this board I did little piles of everything basically everywhere and I love how it turned out.

Simple, sweet, spooky and delicious! The perfect board for any October occasion. Something you can do also is just put your own little touch on things, like the alphabet crackers, they aren’t really spooky but they worked perfectly here.

That’s it, I remember when I wanted to do my first charcuterie board, I was so intimidated and didn’t know where to begin or how to get it as aesthetically pleasing as others, the best part? You don’t have to know what you’re doing! Just do it!!!

Hope you enjoyed this and if you make your own be sure to tag me!

Xoxo until next time, Cheyenne.
